The primary source of income for community members comes from the numerous coffee farms that can be found throughout the region.Coffee is picked by hand during the day the day and the end of the day de-pulping process is applied followed by fermentation process in concrete piles for about 12-18 hours. It is then sun-dried for 4-7 days.
