In India, the shade grown coffee have been inter-planted with the natural trees like Treak, Rosewood, Silver Oak and Jackfruit along with Orange and Pepper Spices.
A peaberry is a natural mutation of the coffee bean. In about 5% of the coffee produced, only one bean develops inside its cherry instead of two. They are hand-sorted after picking and processing as the beans tend to be smaller, denser while tasting noticeably sweeter and more flavourful than standard beans.
