This coffee was grown by Dubier Horta and Finca El Mirador. The fruit was carefully hand-picked in order to select the ripest cherries. The cherries were then pulped and later fermented for 95 hours under water. Findally, the coffee was gently washed and placed on raised beds for 12 days until ideal moisture content was achieved.
This microlot is 100% Caturra. This varietal was originated at Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is a natural mutation of the Red Bourbon. Caturra varietal produces more coffee and it is more resistant to disease than Bourbon
