ASOPEP association (Asociación de Productores Egológicos de Planadas) is composed of 175 coffee farming families. The organisation is in Tolima and works to look after the different farmers in the association. Most of whom work 2-3 hectares. ASOPEP does things like organising organic certification and overseeing farmer welfare.The Tolima region is one of Colombia’s most productive regions.
This region has always had a presence in the Cup of Excellence.
