Winner “Best Coffee of Cerrado” – 2016
Sao Silvestre Estate is a specialty coffee producer in the Cerrado region, located in the Brazilian State of Minas Gerais. They produced one of the first Estate Coffees in Brazil, Capim Branco, dating back from 1901 in their
family. In 1991 through the initiative of twelve producers, who saw the opportunities that investing in quality coffee would bring, they founded the BSCA ( Brazil Specialty Coffee Association ) that supports all small coffe producers in the region. Not only that, it also helps producers improve quality, which improves sustainability.
Helping producers to reach out for the importers worldwide, with eco-friendly coffee is another activity that BSCA performs.
Produced at an altitude of 1,250 masl, this coffees present a balanced body, excellent sweetness, chocolate base in a fruit-topped finish. Minas Hill Coffee has a close relationship with Ismael Andrade which ensures consistency and transparency.
