Piata, a town located between two mountain ranges and is close to Chapada Diamantina National Park. The highest point in Bahia at 1,400m above sea level. Due to Piata’s microclimate, with high altitudes and temperatures that vary from 10°C to 26°C, it is possible to delay the ripeness process and that is the reason why coffee from this region embody so many sugars. Bahia Estate coffee is the result of a partnership of eight small producers from Piatã and Minas Hill Coffee.
