Grown by Albeiro Munoz and his wife and Finca El Deseo. This coffee was picked following a strict ripeness criteria. the cherries were dry anaerobically fermented for 70 hours with pulp on. The whole cherries were then pulped and gently washed before being placed on raised beds until ideal moisture content was achieved.
This lot is 100% Caturra. This variety originated in Monas Gerais, Brazil. It is a natural mutation of Red Bourbon. Caturra produces more coffee and is more reistant to plant diseases than Bourbon,
