In collaboration with Bearded Brewer Coffee, we’ve gone ahead and turned our favourite Christmas dessert into the perfect limited-edition coffee blend to celebrate the festive season. This blend has been carefully crafted for milk based coffee.
In the cup: Brandy Custard, Christmas Pudding and Chocolate
Origins: Mexico Chiapas Decaf (Brandy Soaked), Colombia Popayan and Brazil Mogiana
Process: We soaked Green Mexican Decaf in Brandy for 3 Days in airtight bags (for whatever reason the Decaf seemed to absorb the Brandy the best in the tests and tastings we did). We then dried it out in the sun on hessian sacks over 2 days to get it back to a similar original moisture content. Then roasted it and blended it with Colombian and Brazil Coffees. Our aim was to make a coffee that had very noticeable notes of Brandy but nothing too overwhelming. We are really pleased with how this coffee has turned out and are excited to share it with you.
