The Mogiana coffee region, which runs along the São Paulo side of a stretch of the São Paulo/Minas border (Santos). Differences between micro climates within the regions are far greater than general regional differences. Alta Mogiana is the name given to a selection of highest-quality coffees from a group of around 100 small holder producers in the Mogiana coffee-growing region of Brazil. The harvest on these coffees is primarily done mechanically, with a quality sort after harvest and before drying.
